How To Make Your Backlinks Count

How To Make Your Backlinks Count in 2021

We all know how important backlinks can be for our website's success in search engine rankings. Link exchanges with other websites are another way to gain backlinks.

Backlinks (For those who don't know, they are links on other websites that point to ours.

However, we do not know the details of what we must check before we agree to exchange links with another website. The whole purpose of linking with other sites is to increase their rankings.

Therefore, it is important to determine whether or not exchanging links with other sites is in our best interests.

After thinking about the whole idea of link preparation, I came up with a 3-step process. It involves an analysis on 3 pages of the website we wish to exchange links with. These are the 3 pages:

The home page is where you will find 7 items about the page.

The directory page: This page contains a list listing all categories the site has compiled in an effort to organize its link exchanges. Here are 7 things we need to verify.

- The backlink page: This is the page where our backlink will be found. Here are 7 other things we need to be aware of.

In some cases, the target web site may not have a directory page. Our analysis in such cases will be 2-step rather than 3-step.

This article will cover the first of two or three things, divided into 2 groups. It will focus on 7 items that we need to check about the homepage of the target website.

1. It is important to see what Google thinks about the site. You can do this by reviewing the things Google will report on a site.

This is done to determine if the site has any issues that Google would consider causing us to not exchange links.

I recommend that you look at:

A) How many pages has the site indexed?

You can do this by entering site:www.site.com in the Google search box.

b) How many backlinks does Google report on the site?

You can do this by entering 'links.site.com" in the Google search box.

c) Is the site in Google's search index?

This can be done by using 'http://www.site.com' in the Google search box,

d) What is the Domain Autority for the site/homepage?

This can be done in a number of ways. You can use the Google toolbar to visit the site and see its PR. You can also use any of the many websites on the Internet to determine the PR of any website.

Another way is to search for software that can tell you the PR on any website.

These 4 elements will be viewed together in a table to determine if the target site passes the first stage. However, there are certain results that would make me decide not to exchange links immediately with a site.

- If the DA of the site falls below zero

If the site is not in the Google index,

If the site doesn't have pages indexed by Google.

As you will see, I'm using Google as my first step in preparation. Although we can use any search engine, Google is the best option for this first step. Google is much more strict about backlinks than other search engines.

2. In order to see if the target site's home page has a theme that is compatible with ours, I suggest we examine 3 tags.

A) Its title tag

b) its description tag,

c) Its keywords tag.

There are many ways to check the content of a web site's tags. You can view the content of a web site using a browser such as MSIE.

To view it, you'll need to go to the homepage and click the right menu command. To view its tags, scroll up to the top of your page.

You can also search the Internet for websites that allow you to see the content of tags on any page. These web sites are numerous.

This is because Google considers the theme of websites when assessing backlinks. Backlinks that are from a site with a similar theme to ours will have a higher value than those that come from a site without a connection to our site.

This preparation, which is located on the target site's home page, is just the first step. Two more steps are required: one on your directory page and one at the backlinks page.

Only after the target site has completed the three steps can we feel confident in exchanging links with them. The target site will need to perform a similar 3-step analysis to our site before they are willing to exchange links.
